Gregg Olsen

Gregg Olson, the Orioles' all-time leader in saves, has been elected to the team's Hall of Fame.Olson recorded 160 saves for the Orioles from 1989 through 1993 and won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in 1989, becoming the first reliever to receive the honor. In six seasons with the Orioles, Olson went 17-21 with a 2.26 ERA and held opponents to a .220 batting average. He holds the club record with 41 consecutive scoreless innings pitched over 29 appearances during a stretch from August 1989 to May 1990.
